Patriot’s DEI Initiatives

Putting our policy into action means celebrating the characteristics and achievements that make our employees unique. Our commitment to this policy is reflected in our business practices:

  • Increasing education and awareness around critical DEI issues and scenarios for executive leadership, management, and employees
  • Recruitment efforts, hiring, and onboarding practices and policies
  • Professional development and training
  • Employee and agency recognition programs
  • Ongoing development of a work environment built on the premise of equity

Diversity Advisory Council

Patriot’s Diversity Advisory Council is charged with overseeing and guiding all our DEI initiatives. The council is led by Patriot’s Diversity Officer, while Patriot’s Chief Executive Officer serves as the executive sponsor. Other members include individuals from Patriot’s Agency Growth Team and individual agencies. The Council’s responsibilities include:

  1. take meaningful and tangible actions to create awareness of initiatives
  2. conduct annual reviews and evaluations of the organization’s diversity and inclusion efforts
  3. make improvements and develop new initiatives as necessary and appropriate
  4. provide annual training for all employees
  5. conduct topical webinars throughout the year
